About me

I work with founders and leadership teams when organisations are growing, reinventing themselves or facing difficult decisions. For over ten years, I have taken on responsibility precisely in those phases where there is often no blueprint yet – but clear and fast decisions are required.

As an HR leader and Managing Director in international organisations, I have experienced first-hand how closely entrepreneurial success, operational stability and sound HR decisions are connected.

 

I do not see myself as an external consultant, but as a partner on time. I step into the business, work hands-on and help reduce complexity, manage risk and keep organisations operational – even under pressure.

I bring DACH expertise, with hands-on experience in Germany,
Austria and Switzerland, combined with close collaboration
across Central and Eastern Europe. This enables me to lead ef- fectively across different labour law systems, industrial relations
frameworks and cultural contexts — with a pragmatic,
business-oriented approach.

Alongside my corporate leadership experience, I am also an entrepre- neur and founder. In 2023, I founded Sobbatical Impact Travel, a digi- tal marketplace connecting volunteers, companies and nonprofit or- ganisations worldwide. 

 

This combination of corpo- rate executive responsibility and hands-on entrepreneurship defines how I work today. I understand the realities of building, scaling and steering organisations not only from an advisory perspective, but from direct decision-making responsibility.

Over the years, I have taken hands-on responsibility for establi- shing HR functions from scratch, scaling organisations under
growth pressure and leading restructuring and business closure
situations. My work is shaped by contexts where legal certainty,
operational stability and trust must be ensured at the same time
— often under tight timelines and public scrutiny.
